All trustees, employees and members of the medical staff shall conduct themselves in accordance with the following principles:

• Supportive work environment
• Open communication
• Civility
• Encouragement
• Mutual respect
• Honesty • Cooperation
The hospital has adopted a zero tolerance policy for disruptive behavior which includes but is not limited to:
• Sexual innuendo, abuse or harassment • Racism, sexism or ethnic slurs • Being violent or threatening violence • Exhibiting an intimidating manner • Using foul language, shouting or being rude • Being openly critical of staff in front of others • Threatening retribution or litigation • Refusing to perform assigned tasks • Quietly exhibiting uncooperative attitudes during routine activities • Refusal or reluctance to answer questions, return phone calls or answer pages • Condescending language or voice intonation • Impatience with questions
